Get your engines ready!
Road Trek is all about getting to some iconic places on our great Planet, whilst using inappropriate transport and undertaking some totally madcap challenges on route. Already we have had 40 year old Beetles making it to Africa, a hearse hitting the Arctic Circle and vehicles blowing up before even reaching Birmingham. Road Trek Istanbul 2010 promises to be the biggest adventure yet. Previous years have seen teams get to Morocco and the Arctic Circle. With just a few slight detours this year, teams could be taking on Albania, Kosova, Moldova and Ukraine before arriving in Istanbul – Turkey. 2009’s Arctic Challenge saw one team abandon the use of a vehicle and instead they used public transport!!! We are therefore now saying – BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY but no flights allowed.Ask Yourself:
| • | Could you take in some hard core countries like Albania, Kosova, Romania and Moldova as you head for Istanbul? |
| • | Could you get a photo of a nun in the boot of your car? |
| • | How many nurses in uniform could you persuade to get in your car? |
| • | How many hotel “Do Not Disturb” signs could you collect on route? |
| • | Could you ride a cow? |
Each challenge will earn your team points, the more extreme the challenge the greater the points – The Team with the most points will be crowned “King of the Road Trek 2010” and awarded the Challenge Cup.
Have you got the bottle, ingenuity, cheek & cunning to take on
